Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a natural citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. This easy drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. A slightly cloudy, light-bodied, straw colored beer with a sweet, bready malt flavor, low hop bitterness and a hint of citrus.

Breggo Anderson Valley Chardonnay was fermented in neutral oak barrels and aged in a large oak oval that holds the equivalent of 15 barrels. Aging Chardonnay in a larger oak cask preserves the fruit flavors and gives an especially clean finish. The nose on this pretty wine is bright with aromas of dried pineapple, green apple, and lemon zest. Flavors of honey and quince mingle with Meyer lemon and pear on the palate.

"In the mouth, Bridlewood Cabernet Sauvignon yields a noticeable sweetness upfront from the notes of dark fruit, chocolate and caramelized sugar, but finishes with a surprising firmness. We chose to blend about eight percent Syrah for added layers of red berry flavors and a touch of Petite Sirah to enhance the dark fruit characteristics and create a plush mouthfeel."

Broadbent offers an interesting mix of minerality and savory herbs, with apple flavors and a light citrus note. Features hints of richness of the finish.

Broquel Malbec is rich and full bodied and bursting with sweet, jammy ripe berry fruit. Long on the palate with well integrated layers of macerated berry, spice, and vanilla-oak. The tannins are firm yet soft on the finish.
